Harry Henderson died Wednesday

Harry K. Henderson, 82, Story City, died at Story City Bethany Manor Wednesday evening.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. from Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. C. A. Gisselquist officiating. Burial will be in Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Mr. Henderson was born Nov. 15, 1887 at Etne, Norway and came to the United States at the age of 16. He was married to Malinda Holland in 1917.

He farmed in the Story City area for many years until he retired.

Survivors include his wife, Malinda; a son, Melbourne, Story City; a daughter, Mrs. Genevieve Redling, Jewell,; six grandchildren and three brothers, Erik, St. James, Minn., Ingvold, Nerstrand, Minn. and Osmund, Etne, Norway.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, three sisters, and two brothers.

The body will lie in state at the Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home, Story City.
