Nevada, Iowa

Paul De La Haye, 81, of Nevada, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.

Paul was born April 19, 1930, and served in the United States Navy. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Nevada. Paul enjoyed movies, children and sweets. He was an avid Patriots fan and loved the company of others.

Paul is survived by many caring friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one daughter; and one sister.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, November 7, 2011, at the First United Methodist Church in Nevada. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Paul De La Haye Memorial Fund c/o Bacon Funeral Home.
