Thelma J. Danilson

June 12, 1919 - May 22, 2011
Boone, Iowa

Thelma J. Danilson was born June 12, 1919 to Johan and Julia (Rullestad) Freeland in Huxley, Iowa. She worked for Dial Finance in Kansas City and Des Moines and married Carl Frederick Danilson in 1975 and lived in Ogden from that time forward. Thelma was a member of the Eastern Star and Community United Methodist Church in Ogden.

Thelma passed away May 22, 2011 at West Haven Care Center in Boone, Iowa at 91 years of age.

Thelma is survived by her granddaughter Kris Kelly Merritt; her sister-in-law Mary Ann Freeland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter Julie Merritt; six sisters, JoAnn Freeland, Pearl Weeks, Evelyn Ginn, Mabel Weeks, Lorraine Pierson, and Mildred Reinertson; and two brothers, Glen Freeland and Stanley Freeland.

Memorials may be designated to Community Methodist Church.
