Thursday morning at half past 6 o'clock Robert C. Jones a man well known to most of Story county's people, died in this city. He had been ill but about two weeks, and his death was a suprise to many. He had been teaching the Ontario school this winter, and at the time he was taken ill was here attneding a teachers' meeting. The first symptoms of sickness were not at all alarming, and not until a physician was called and pronounced his disease typhoid fever, was it considered serious.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at Ontario, where the remains will be buried.

Deceased was a native of Ohio, but an old resident of this county. He was 47 years of age a leaves three children, besides an aged father, a large family circle and numerous friends to mourn his death.
