Miss Kate Robertson, oldest daughter of Mr. Jas. Robertson, formerly of this place, died about ten days ago from scarlet fever. One or two of the other children of the family have been quite sick but are recovering.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: According to WPA Records, Catherine E. Robertson was buried in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Story County, Iowa. Her father, James Robertson, was also buried in the Walnut Grove Cemetery 12 years later in 1890.
