Gaylord H. Thornbrue died suddenly at Chicago Tuesday night, the end coming as a complete surprise to his family. He had not been sick and his death was evidently caused by heart trouble from which he had been suffering for some time. The funeral was held fromt he family residence on Willis avenue at Perry Friday afternoon, the services being conducted by Rev. Senseney of the Methodist church. Interment ws made at Violet Hill cemetery. For several years he was a resident of this city, his father Rev. A. Thornbrue, being pastor of the Methodist church here. During the past few years he has been employed by Montgomery Ward & Co., of Chicago in the mail order department. Deceased leaves a wife and one child, his father, A. Thornbrue, now pastor of the Methodist church at Valley Junction, iowa and one brother, Howard.
