Blanche R. Dodds, daughter of Robert Dodd and wife was born Feb. 11, 1873, in Story county, Ia, and married Dec. 23, 1896, by E. M. Holmes to Rev. J. F. Hunter. To this union were born two children, Ethel M. and Merrill D. She united with the M. E. church at the age of 15 to which she remained a faithful and consistent member until the time of her death. The funeral services were conducted in the Pleasant Grove church Monday, April 4, at 2 o'clock by Rev. Andrew M. Shea of the M. E. church. The mains were laid to rest in the Pleasant Grove cemetery.
