Mrs. Rebecca Ann Cooper died at Republic, Kansas, Tuesday evening. The Cooper family received word last Saturday that she was very low and Frank Cooper left Sunday for Republic, but when he arrived his mother was so low that she could not recognize him and grave fear for her recovery were entertained. She however lingered until Tuesday night when she passed away. F. M. Cooper, accompanied by a sister, will arive with he remains Thursday night.

Rebecca Ann Stark was born in Indiana, January 23, 1833, and died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Mary Gooseman in Republic City, Kansas, March 29, 1904, age seventy-one years, two months and six days.
