DIED.--Dr. Frank B. McCall died at Englewood Union Hospital in Chicago on Monday, Sept. 29th, aged 41 years, 1 month and 12 days. His death was caused by an operation for appendicitis which took place on the 20th, and which remained favorable for a week when a change for the worse took place on the 27th, and the end foreshadowed, giving barely time for the arrival of his mother and sister. Dr. McCall was married to Violetta Briggs, who with two little girls survives him. The remains were brought to this city Tuesday and the funeral was held at the residence of S. E. Briggs from which they were deposited in the Nevada cemetery to await the last call. Mrs. McCall was one of the men the world could ill afford to lose at this time, but that made no difference; the call came wll the same. He stood high with our people and all express themselves as sorry to note his death. Mrs. McCall with her two daughters will make her home in the future with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Briggs.
