DIED--At her home in Marshalltown, on the first of November of typhoid fever after an illness of three months, Mrs. Joseph Tretter. Mrs. Tretter was known to many in this city as Miss Emma Kelly, a daughter of P. H. Kelly* who lived in this city for many years. She leaves her husband and one son to mourn her loss. The last rights were held in the St. Mary's Catholic church, and the remains were tenderly laid away in Riverside Cemetery.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "P. H. Kelly" is Patrick Kelly. Her mother was Melinda (Kennedy) Kelly. The family lived in Washington Twp., Story County, Iowa.
