DIED--In this city on Wednesday after an illness of about two weeks W. J. Zahn aged 36 years. He leaves a wife and one child to mourn his loss. Mr. Zahn settled in this place some years ago and opened up a cigar factory which he ran up to the time of his death having made a success of the business. He was taken with typhoid fever some two or three weeks since and the end had been anticipated for several days still it came as a surprise to his numerous friends. The funeral will be held this afternoon at the M. E. church.
