From Story County Watchman July 14, 1899

DIED--At the residence of her daughter Mrs. E. E. Benn, in St. Peters, Minn., Mrs. S. B. Goodell, aged about 75 years. The remains were sent to this city for interment and placed beside her husband who died years ago. Services will be held in the M. E. church at ten this morning after which they will be taken to their last abode. The family resided in this city several years ago and will be kindly remembered by many of our people. The services will be under the direction of her daughter, Mrs. J. B. Rushmore of our city, who will receive the sympathy of her many friends.
