Ames Watchman.

Tuesday evening a student of the I. A. C. suicided in front of the main building by a pistol shot, and it is said on account of some property difficulty. His name was F. W. Meyers.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: The I. A. C. refers to Iowa Agricultural College in Ames, now Iowa State University. "Old Main" was the main building on campus for years. It burned twice and was abandoned in 1903. It stood where present Beardshear Hall stands.
