H. Hallock, an old resident of Story county, died at his residence on Wednesday, March 10, aged 78 years, 4 months and 22 days. Mr. Hallock settled in Grant township in 1856, and lived here until after th war, when he moved to Kansas. He was taken with la grippe about three weeks ago, which resulted fatally. He has been a consistent member of the M. E. church since he was a young man and peacefully died in the faith.
