Editor WATCHMAN.--This morning I received by mail that Mr. Hoyman Hallock, of Havensville, Kansas, died at 8 o'clock p. m. the 10th inst. of la grippe. Mr. Hallock was sick about three weeks. He was one of the old settlers of Story county. He settled in Grant township in the fall of 1886 and after the rebellion he moved to Kansas where he lived until his death. Mr. Hallock was 78 years old on the 18th day of October. He was a faithful member of the the M. E. church ever since he was a young man. He passed away peacefully.
