Ames Intelligencer: ....The funeral of Charlie Carpenter, the fourteen year old son of James Carpenter, takes place to-day. Rev. Douglass will preach the sermon at Bloomington church at 10 o'clock. Burial in the Nevada cemetery in the afternoon.
