Word was received Wednesday evening that Robert M. Hunter an old time resident of Franklin township, had just died at the home of his son in Wall Lake, Iowa, and that the remains would be brought to Gilbert Station for interment Friday at 2 o'clock p. m. Mr. Hunter has been a resident of Story County for more than a generation and for over 30 years has held offices of trust in that township, thus showing the appreciation of his immediate neighbors so far as his integrity and and honesty was concerned. He was one of natures noblemen and his taking off was in the course of nature being from age. He remained upon the farm until about a year since when he moved to Wall Lake to be with his son who was engaged in business there. His numerous friends in this section of country extend concolence to sorrowning relatives.
