DIED.--At his residence in the southwest part of this township on Monday last Emsley F. Farrington, aged about 68 years. He was a native of North Carolina, and same to this state in 1864, and made hsi home in Story County since 1867. He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his loss. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Ferguson assisted by Rev. Horswell at the M. E. Church. The other ceremonies were taken charge of by Columbia Lodge of Masons at Colo, of which he was an honored member. He was also a member of 3x3 Chapter of Masons many of whom also turned out upon the occasion. In his decease the county has lost an honest and upright citizen, one who has always worked for the advancement of the community in which he lived.
