From Story County Watchman November 4, 1892

Zearing Enterprise:....Died, Monday morning, at four o'clock Mrs. Catharine Grim, of paralysis, aged 72 years, 11 months, and 11 days. She was the mother of A. H. Grim living 2 1/2 miles north-east of Zearing, and was an old lady that was well thought of and highly respected by all who knew her.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Catherine Grimm is identified in Donald H. Grimm's Community History Zearing Iowa as Catharine Marie Schlichting who married Claus Henry Grimm in Germany. They were the parents of Emma, August Henry and Carrie Grimm Stahley.
