From Story County Watchman August 12, 1892

Henry Trites of New Albany township, died at his home ths week and the funeral was held by the Masonic order of Colo Wednesday. He was one of the staunch and most respected farmers in the county, and everyone of his acquaintances sincerely regret his departure to that bourne from whence no traveler ever returns.

In Memorium.

HALL OF COLUMBIA LODGE NO. 292, A. F. & A. M., Colo, Iowa, Aug 11th.

WHEREAS, It has pleased the Supreme Grandmaster of the universe to call from our midst, our beloved brother, Henry Trites, and
WHEREAS, We have lost a faithful and upright brother, and a zealous worker, ever ready to observe the most useful tenets of our order, which are friendship, morality, and brotherly love, the family has lost a true and dutiful husband, and father, and the community an exemplary and honorable citizen.
Therefore be it Resolved, that Columbia Lodge No. 292 extend their heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family. Be it Resolved, that our hall be draped in mourning out of respect to our depated brother. While we deeply deplore his departure from our earthly Lodge, we humbly submit to the commands of the Supreme Ruler and live in hope, that when our work is finished here, we may be called to the Lodge on high, and there meet all, who have gone be fore, in everlasting glory. Be it further Resolved, that the members of Columbia Lodge 292 tender their sincere thanks to all visiting brethren, for their attendance and kindly assistance during the last sad rites upon our deceased brother, and home of sorrow.
Be it Resolved, That these resolutions be spread upon the Lodge records, and published in the Nevada Represetative and Story Co. WATCHMAN, and a copy thereof be presented to the bereaved family.
