The Ames Watchman

W. D. Lucas formerly one of the leading citizens of this city died at his residence in Des Moines last week. The funeral was largely attended many going from here to attend it. Many of the finest improvements in the city are due to his energy and ambition, and everyone here was pained to learn of his loss.
