DIED--At Bondurant, Feb. 9 1892 at 3:10 p. m., Roswell P. Paine, aged 71 years, the immediate cause being lagrippe his sickness being only of the last ten days. Mr. Paine was a native of Vermont and was educated at Bethany College, Virginia. He came to Iowa in 1868 and located in Union township, Story county, and in 1875 removed to Bondurant, Polk county. He was an active and earnest member of the Christian church since boyhood and elected an elder at the organization of the now flourishing Christian church of Bondurant. A father to family and church is now truly gone to his rest. He leaves a wife and five children. The funeral services was held at the Bondurant Christian church Thursday Feb 11, at 11 a. m., conducted by Rev. C. Chilton.
