Yesterday morning L. W. Hines died at his residence in the south part of town. He was a member of the G. A. R. Post at Maxwell therefore saw service during the late unpleasantness. He leaves a wife and several small children.

The funeral will be held to-day from the residence of the deceased unter the direction of Jason D. Ferguson Post G. A. R., the services being conducted by Rev. Danner.
