From Story County Watchman March 22, 1889

A Sioux City dispatch says that Robt. W. Cole, one of the pioneers of that city, died at the hotel Garreston, of heart disease on Monday of last week. He was citizen of Nevada in 1864, going thence to Sioux City where he was successful financially.
