Maxwell, Ia., Jan. 23rd--Mrs. Carrie Wilbur, wife of W. S. Wilbur of Thurnora, Dak., who has been visiting relatives near this city for a few weeks, was yesterday thrown from a sleigh while out riding and was instantly killed. She was preparing to return home, and her sad and sudden taking away has cast a gloom over her family here as well as among her many friends in Dakota.
