SUDDEN DEATH:--In Woodbine, Iowa, Monday, Feb'y 9th, of pneumonia, Mr. Henry C. Drake, in the 52d year of his age. Mr. Drake was a resident of Woodbine but about three months, having come here in November 1884 from Dunlap, Iowa, from which place he had removed from Nevada, Iowa, about a year before. He was born in Indiana, and a man of vigorous health without sickness from youth, with the promise, in appearance, of years of healthy and useful life, and in so short a time he was stricken down and taken from us. He was taken with a cold at first, which grew worse and on Wednesday he took his bed, and died on the following Monday. His last sickness was borne very patiently, even in the midst of intense suffering, he blessed the Lord for all his benefits. He was a member of the Presbyterian church, and the church here loses one of its most staunch members.--[Woodbine Twiner.
