[Dr. And]rew Patton died yester[day eveni]ng, at his residence on [Thursday las]t, aged about 70 years.-- [He h]as been a resident of our [city for y]ears and was one of the [most este]emed citizens. He was a [surgeon] in the war of the rebellion [and was alwa]ys prominent in all gath[erings of old] soldiers. He leaves a wife [who has] the sympathy of all. He [will be] buried on Sunday next.
[At the re]quest of the Dr. all the old [soldiers] that can do so are invited [to meet] at the office of the county [----- a]t half past nine o'clock and [proceed] to the residence in a body. [S]ervices will be conducted in [milita]ry style, as near as may be.
