IN MEMORIAM.--In the death of Mrs. D. C. Maloney, which occured on last Monday morning about 5 o'clock. Nevada has lost one of its most beloved and respected inhabitants.

She was 35 years of age, and belonged to one of the best and most respected families in Benton county whence she moved to this place where she now lies low. During her residence in this city, she made many friends. She was charitable, a devoted wife, a kind and affectionate mother and a good catholic, and as she lived so she died, precious in the sight of the lord. Her funeral was very largely attended, not withstanding the badness of the roads, the church being densely crowded with friends and relatives who came to pay their last respects to her whom they had loved so well, and long will the memory of her spotless life linger in their heart, a tender recollection of a noble woman.

The funeral services consisting of a solemnly sung high mass, the usual ritual prayers for the dead, and a few touching and impressive words were performed by Revs. P. Smith M. S. Murphy.
