From The Watchman February 2, 1894

DIED - January 26th, Mrs. Bridget Mulcahy, aged 78 years. She has been a resident of this county for 26 years. She was born in Ireland and moved with her husband to Illinois about 33 years ago and six years later to Story county. Her husband died about fifteen years ago. She leaves three sons and three daughters, all living in this county and all married except David Mulcahy, the youngest, with whom she was living at the time of her death. The remains were buried in the Catholic cemetery at Nevada, January the 28th, Rev. McNamara conducting the services. Mrs. Mulcahy leaves a large number of friends.
