JOHN GALBREATH DIED AT SANTA ANA

FORMER NEVADA MAN PASSED AWAY AT HIS HOME IN CALIFORNIA

John J. Galbreath, 50, former resident of this city, died late Friday night, at his home in Santa Ana, Calif., according to a message received by his son Virgil Galbreath of Avenue K., this city, who left here Saturday night to attend the funeral services.

Mr. Galbreath, who had been living at Santa Ana for the past five years had been in his usual health until an attack of erysipilas developed, which proved fatal.

Funeral and interment wil be at Santa Ana, the definite time being dependant upon the arrival of his son. Other members of the family, including his wife, one son, three daughters, his aged parents and two sisters all live on the Pacific coast.

Mr. Galbreath had lived in and near Nevada for many years and for a time lived at McCallsburg. During the last few years in the country he was engaged in the automobile business.

Since moving to the Pacific coast he had been engaged as a driver on one of the large coastwise bus lines. The family had but recently moved into a new home which they had built at Santa Ana, according to friends who had recently visited them there.

Mr. Galbreath leaves besides his wife, two sons, Virgil Galbreath of this city and Estel Galbreath of Santa Ana; three daughters, Miss Vera Galbreath now teaching at Long Beach, Genevieve, recently married to Mr. Russel Fisher of Grange, Calif., and Lola Marvelle, the youngest.

He also leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Galbreath who recently moved to the coast from McCallsburg and two sisters, Mrs. Earl Lister of Ontario, Calif., and Mrs. H. Bacon who lives in Washington.

Mr. Galbreath, a native of Illinois had came out to Story county with his parents many years ago and grew to young manhood and was married here, his wife being a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Densmore. Mrs. Galbreath is a sister of Mrs. J. W. Kopf of southeast of this city, in the Mullen settlement.

The family lived at the corner of Eighth and Avenue J., for several years before leaving for California.
