MRS. JAMES GALBREATH

Mrs. James Galbreath, 87, former longtime resident of the Zearing and McCallsburg communities, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Earl Lister, in Pomona, Calif., Sunday, August 1.

Mrs. Galbreath had been helpless since Feb. 27, and was in a state of coma for 48 hours previous to her death.

The deceased was born in Illinois on Jan. 23, 1893, and for many years was actively identified with the worthwhile projects of the McCallsburg and Zearing communities. She left with her husband for California in 1925. During their residence on the west coast both she and her husband made their home with the daughter, Florence, Mrs. Earl Lister, who was the former Mrs. Roy Roe.

Besides Mrs. Lister, Mrs. Galbreath is also survived by a daughter who lives in the state of Washington. The late John Galbreath, longtime resident of Nevada, whose children live in California, was a son of the deceased.
