DIED - On Monday last at Blencoe, Iowa, Frank H. Cobleigh, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Cobleigh of this city. Mr. Cobleigh was born in Missouri Valley, Iowa on June 5th, 1879, and was therefor a trifle over 26 years of age. His parents received word of his sickness Monday and while waiting at the depot for the train, word was received of his death and the journey was continued under that depressing influence. He was clerk in the store of Mr. Riley of Blencoe at the time and received all the assistance that could be tendered but without avail. Thus the young life just entering upon the full enjoyment of life snapped asunder while the parents, brothers, sister and friends are left to mourn the loss. The remains were brought to this city for interment and the last services were given by Rev. Palm at the residence of Mr. Cobleigh on Vine street who spoke fittingly and feelingly of the young life thus taken away. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias and the noble brotherhood did all they could to aid the last ceremonies as by their rites they were entitled. The family have the utmost sympathy of the entire community in this their last sad affliction.
