Roy Clarence, a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Knudtson, died at the home of his parents on Sunday evening, June 5, 1910, after having been sick about ten days with pneumonia. Roy was born in Roland March 10, 1903, and was 7 years, 2 months and 25 days old when called to the home of his Heavenly Father. Besides his parents, he leaves several brothers and sisters to mourn his death besides other relatives. The funeral was held form Salem church on Wednesday and as Rev. Sandven was unable to be present, short prayer services were conducted, after which the remains of the little boy were laid to rest in the Roland cemetery. The casket was covered with flowers, and the church prettily decorated. The sorrowing parents are extended the sincere sympathy of their many friends in the hour of sorrow.
