Cambridge Items
Died, at Cambridge, April 30th, of lung fever, Mr. William Seal. Mr. Seal was 48 years old, came to Iowa in 1857, and was one of our best citizens. He stood the storms of many hard winters which the old pioneers were compelled to endure. For integrity, liberality and fair dealing, he was surpassed by none in the same circumstances. He stood high in the estimation of his neighbors, always practicing the golden rule. He belonged to no particular religious denomination, though we believe his past record is of such a nature that should entitle him to enter into that great haven of rest where all is purity and bliss, the inheritance of the noble and good. Mr. S. leaves a wife and large family of children, and a large circle of friends who mourn his loss. The funeral services took place on Sautrday in the M. E. Church. Rev. Isaac Atchison officiated in the capacity of clergyman, who did justice to the occasion.
