Mrs. J. H. V. Willets died at her home in Zearing, January 21, 1889 after an illness of several months. A short service was held at the residence in Zearing Wednesday afternoon, after which the remains were taken to her former home near Bangor, Marshall county where the funeral was held on Thursday. Quite a number of persons frm Zearing attended the funeral at Bangor. Mr. Willets and the family have the sympathy of all who knew them.

Anna Rossell (Green) Willets was born in Grant County, Indiana Oct 17, 1858. She moved with her parents to Marshall county, Iowa in 1859, and was married to J. H. V. Willets April 24, 1880, she died as her home in Zearing Jan. 21, 1889, aged 30 years, 3 months and 4 days. She was a sufferer a number of months before death came to her relief. Her trust was fully in the Saviour, which enabled her to day, "Thy will be done." She leaves a sorrowing husband, three children, parents, two brother and friends to mourn her departure. Services were held at the residence in Zearing on Wednesday afternoon after which the remains were taken to her former home in Marshall county where the funeral was held on Thursday.
