THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, February 12, 2010.

Arnold “Arnie” Ellsworth Harris, 92, a longtime resident of Boone County, died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at the Boone County Hospital. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at Central Christian Church, 803 Greene St., in Boone. Burial will be in the Linwood Park Cemetery of Boone.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 12, at Central Christian Church in Boone. Masonic rites will be at 7 p.m. at the church. Visitation will continue from 8 a.m. until the service Saturday at the church.

Memorials in memory of Arnold “Arnie” Harris have been established for the Central Christian Church of Boone and the Boone County 4-H Foundation.
