1928-2009

The family of the late Dale E. Larsen has planned a funeral Mass that will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 2210 Lincoln Way in Ames. Dale passed away March 2, 2009, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases. Dale’s funeral was delayed because the family is coming from North Carolina, Georgia and Heidleberg, Germany, to honor his life. Following the Mass, a light lunch will be served at the church. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, at the Wyoming Cemetery on Highway 136, just north of Wyoming, Iowa.

Memorials may be directed to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, nmss.org. The family is grateful for all memorials that have already been received.
