E. F. KEENAN, RESIDENT HERE 35 YEARS, DIES

Edward F. Keenan, 75, a resident of Ames for 35 years, died at 7 p. m., Saturday at St. Anthony's home in Dubuque, following an illness of about three weeks.

Keenan was born in Mendota, Ill., and moved to Ames from a farm in Boone county. He left here a few years ago to make his home in Dubuque.

He is survived by a brother, George, of Ames and a sister, Sarah, of Oklahoma City, Okla.

Funeral services were held at 8 a. m., Monday from St. Cecilia's Catholic church, with the Rev. J. M. Campbell in charge. Burial was in the Boone Catholic cemetery.
