Mrs. Lars Haukoos, Pioneer Resident Of Cambridge, Dies

McCALLSBURG — Mrs. Lars Haukoos, 82, pioneer resident of the McCallsburg community, died early Wednesday morning at her home in McCallsburg after a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held Friday, with a short service at the home at 1 p. m., followed by rites at the Bethany Lutheran church at 1:30 p. m., with the Rev. H. N. Bakka in charge. Burial will be in the McCallsburg cemetery.

Mn. Haukoos' husband died 12 years ago. She leaves her daughter Mrs. Julia Hauskins of Cedar Rapids and sons Martin and Carl of McCallsburg and Oscar of Forest City.

The son, Carl, had been making his home with Mrs. Haukoos at the time of her death.
