MRS. SCOTT RITES HELD AT SHELDAHL

SHELDAHL—Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Scott, 81, who died Friday, were held. Tuesday afternoon from the Methodist church, with the Rev. Mr. Bloomquist, former pastor here, in charge. Burial was in the Sheldahl cemetery.

Mrs. Scott died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mabel Berggren, where she had gone earlier in the day to celebrate her daughters birthday. She became ill and was unable to return home.

She was an active worker in the Methodist church, with the Ladies Aid, the Loyal Gleaners and the cemetery auxiliary.

She is survived by three sons, Ira J. Scott of Ames, John and Milton of Sheldahl; three daughters, Susan Nerness of Slater, and Mabel and Sarah Berggren of Sheldahl; also four sisters, Mrs. Josie Anfinson of Kelley, Mrs. Anna Moland of Ames, Mrs. Martha Nelson and Mrs. Bertha Simonson of Slater; a brother, Albert Romsa of Wyoming. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren.
