AMES DAILY TRIBUNE AND TIMES, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Monday, March 23, 1936.

RELATIVE OF AMES FAMILY IS KILLED

Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Logsdon, 200 Thirteenth street, were in Stanhope Monday following receipt of word that a relative, Dr. I. A. Anderson, 55 druggist and veterinarian, was killed accidentally Sunday while hunting pigeons on a farm near Stanhope.

Dr. Anderson was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Logsdon.

Mr. Anderson was killed when in the act of pulling his gun out of the car. A coat in the back of the machine caught on the trigger of the gun, discharging it. The shot struck Dr. Anderson in the head.

Funeral services will be held in Stanhope at 9 a. m. Tuesday and burial will be in Spencer.
