LIFETIME RESIDENT OF NEVADA IS DEAD
NEVADA - Funeral services for Mrs. Elfa Worsley, 75, lifelong resident of Nevada were to be held Monday afternoon from the Moorfoot Funeral home. Mrs. Worsley died early Saturday morning at her home here after an illness of several weeks. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.
Mrs. Worsley was born Elfa Emmazette Lockridge in Nevada, Oct. 8, 1860, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Lockridge. She attended the Nevada schools and April 24, 1884 was united in marriage to Theodore P. Worsley.
Two sons were born to the couple, Arthur of Eudora, Ark., and Theodore jr. of Salina, Kan., both of whom survive.
Mr. Worsley died in 1925.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Etta Will of Salina, Kan., and Mrs. E. S. Armstrong of Nevada.
