D. W. WISE BURINED AT FERNALD THURS.
FERNALD — Funeral services for D. W. Wise, 62 who died suddenly from a heart attack Monday at his home here, were held Thursday afternoon at l o'clock from the Church of the Brethren at Fernald. Burial was in the Johnson Grove cemetery. The Rev. Charles Rowe of Dallas Center was in charge.
Mr. Wise had been engaged in farming and in the building contracting business for many years. He had served in the local Church of the Brethren as its pastor for some time, and was prominently connected with that denomination in Story and other counties.
Surviving are his wife, three sons and two daughters. The sons, Charles and Harry of Dallas Center and Jacob of Fernald and the daughters, Mrs. William Post of Nevada and Mrs. Irene Daddison of Dallas Center.
