Former Sheldahl Woman Dies Sat At Univ. Hospital

SHELDAHL — Mrs. Olive Klies, 47, former resident of this place died Saturday at the University of Iowa hospital at Iowa City following an operation. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from a Des Moines funeral home and burial was in the cemetery at Livermore.

Mrs. Klies had been in poor health for some time and recently had undergone a second operation at the university hospital. The Klies family resided in Sheldahl for several years prior to moving to Des Moines seven years ago. Mr. Klies was cashier of the Sheldahl bank.

Surviving besides her husband are a daughter Marian, her mother, Mrs. Reese of Livermore, and two brothers and two sisters.
