Mrs. Minos Fall, 58, Dies Tuesday A. M. at Home
Mrs. Grace M. Fall, 58, a resident of Ames for nearly 40 years, died at her home at 804 Douglas avenue at 2 a. m. Tuesday. Mrs. Fall had been in ill health for some time, due to heart trouble.
She was born January 3, 1878 at Farmer City, Ill. After moving to Kansas and then back to Illinois, she, with her parents, moved to a farm south of Ames. She was married here in 1896 to Minos Fall and the couple lived at Hiteman, Ia., for two years, moving to Ames in 1898. Mrs. Fall was active in the affairs of the First Methodist church here for many years.
Surviving her are her husband, Minos Fall; two sons, Glenn, Ames, and Charles, Waterloo; one daughter, Mrs. Aletha Fall Gray, Ames; three brothers, John Akin and Ray Akin, Ames, and Lee Akin, Cherrydale, Va.; three sisters, Mrs. L. R. Morris and Mrs. Charles Dragoun, Ames, and Mrs. H. H. Jonker, Three Rivers, Mich. Also surviving are four granddaughters and two grandsons.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday from the first Methodist church, with the Rev. Walter Morgan in charge. Burial will be in the Ames cemetery. The body will lie in state at the home Wednesday.
