Betty Mae Arnold, 63, of McCallsburg died of complications of a blood disease Friday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bethany Lutheran Church in McCallsburg, with burial at Colo Cemetery.

Mrs. Arnold was born in Marshalltown and had lived in McCallsburg most of her life. She retired in 1992 as a clerk from Donnelly's Marketing in Nevada.

Surviving are her husband, Don; a son Randy of Story City; a daughter, Robin Thomas of McCallsburg; two brothers, Howard Settle of Cedar Falls and Lloyd Settle of Cedar Rapids; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Fredregill Funeral Home in Zearing, where the family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m.
