Mrs. Ellen Carr, 85, widow of the late Wyatt Carr, pioneer settler of Story county, died at her home in Collins Monday morning at five o'clock, following an illness of two or three weeks. Death was due to complications incident to advanced age.

She is survived by four sons, Stephen and Charles Carr of Collins, John Carr of Macon, Mo., and Amos Carr who lives in Minnesota, and one daughter, Mrs. Olga Holm of Los Angeles, Calif.
