John Burwell Angelo, 82, died March 23, 2005 in Venice, FL.

He was born May 4, 1922 in Milwaukee, WI, to Wyatt Burwell and Sada Corzine Angelo. He was a partner and trial lawyer in Chicago with the firm Ross and Hardies until his retirement. John graduated from Hinsdale High School and the University of Chicago undergraduate and law schools. He served in the U.S. Corps of Engineers in the South Pacific in World War II.

John lived in Hinsdale, IL from 1934 to 1988 when he and his wife, Shirley, moved to Manasota Key.

John's wife, Shirley, passed away In 1997. He Is survived by his children, Percy Angelo of Placida, FL, Wyatt Angelo of Montrose, CO, John Kimberley Angelo of Hinsdale, IL, and Janet Angelo of Grand Rapids, MI; eleven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were held in Florida. Interment will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 9 at the Peoria Cemetery near Maxwell.

The Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell is in charge of arrangements.
