FRED W. ANDERSON

Fred W. Anderson, 88, of Collins IA, died Monday, Sept. 7, 1987, at Mary Greeley Medical Center, Ames IA, of a heart attack.

He was born Nov. 26, 1898, at Windsor MO, to John P. and Almira Anderson.

He was married to Mabel Dugger.

Survivors include his wife, Mabel; three sons, Joe of Orland Park IL, Jim of Crawford NE, and Max of Collins; two daughters, Wanda (Mrs. Russell) Oswalt and Marjorie Sargent, both of Collins; 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, and a sister, Mildred Lund of Lakeland, FL.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

Mr. Anderson was a retired farmer.

Funeral services were held from Chet Ryan Mortuary, Nevada IA, Thursday, Sept. 10, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Harland Gant officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery at Collins IA.
