Former Gilbert Resident Died

Word was received this morning of the death of Mrs. Howard Sawyer, a former resident of the Gilbert Community, who died yesterday at her home in Sioux Rapids.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at Sioux Rapids and at 4:30 p.m. from the Pleasant Grove Church, east of Gilbert. Burial will be at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Sawyer was preceded in death by her husband, June 8, 1960. Surviving is a son, Phillip, DePere, Wis.
